ICT Mark Accredited - Awarded December 8, 2014
BECTA is the government agency leading the national drive to ensure the effective and innovative use of information and communications technology throughout learning.
The BECTA ICT Mark is an externally assessed, national quality mark against which schools can measure whether they have reached a recognised standard of maturity in their use of technology.
The BECTA SRF – Self Review Framework offers the school a route for assessing and improving our school’s use of ICT, by benchmarking against best practice, it will enable Greenfield school to create an action plan for further development.
This is a fantastic achievement for us and the report from the assessors was a real pleasure to read.
We are already planning the next stage in our ICT development which will include further work on e-safety and also address the issues around:
- HWB+ Site
- Further development of our school website
